Charlotte Yates is a Wellington-based singer-songwriter who has released six albums of solo material to date. Her songs have been heard on television programmes Shortland Street, Jackson's Wharf and The Strip. Yates has also composed music for children's shows What Now? and Giggles. Her latest credits include  music composed for the new E Tu website, http://etuwhanau.org/  funded through Family & Community Services (a division of Ministry of Social Development) to promote positive whanau values and family violence prevention and the 2014 Barnados givealittle Christmas campaign.

Studio Specs:
I work from my studio in Wellington, 1/25 Hopper St. I use an Apple Mac mini 2.3 GHz i7/16GB/ 1TB Fusion C/w Mini Display Port Adapter DVI 1,565 with Dell U2412M24" Dell Ultrasharp LED Monitor. My platform is Avid MBox + Full Pro Tools Software Version 11.2 with Air Instrument Expansion Pack for Pro Tools (7 instrument plug-ins) and East West QL Symphonic Orchestra Gold Complete library. I have near field powered Audix monitors and a Behringer mixer. I use Sennheiser headphones and have a limited isolation room for vocal/live instrument recording. However, for larger combos, I'm right next door to Matrix Digital, which has full isolation.
